Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

Kodu ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Kodu you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect the email address you sign up with, and basic profile information (name, avatar) when you sign in with GitHub or Google. We also store the projects and code you create so you can access them later.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to operate Kodu — authenticating you, saving your projects, and deploying your sites to providers you choose (Vercel, Netlify, GitHub). We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

3. Third-party services

Kodu connects to third-party services such as GitHub, Google, Vercel, Netlify, and AI providers. When you connect these, you grant Kodu permission to act on your behalf (for example, pushing code to your GitHub). Their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.

4. Data security

Passwords are hashed and access tokens are stored securely. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Your rights

You can access, update, or delete your account and data at any time. To request deletion of your data, contact us and we will remove your information from our systems.
